Eastern Region

Kween District (Binyiny Town Council, and Moyok Sub- County)

CEDOVIP worked in partnership with Department for International Development (DFID) to prevent Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) – specifically Female Genital Mutilation / Cutting (FGM/C)

Kampala

Kampala (Lubaga, Makindye, Central, and Kawempe divisions)

CEDOVIP worked in partnership with Department for International Development (DFID) to prevent Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) – specifically Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC)

Pallisa & Bushenyi Districts

CEDOVIP in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with funding from Green Climate Fund (GCF); and the Ministry of water and Environment (MWE), Ministry of Agriculture Animals and Fisheries (MAAIF), and Uganda National Meteorological Agency (UNMA). The pilot seeks to end Gender based Violence (GBV) and achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating and implementing a GBV risk mitigation and Prevention strategy with in the “Building resilient Communities, wetlands Ecosystems and Associated Catchments” project in Pallisa and Bushenyi districts. 

KAMPALA (LUBAGA, MAKINDYE, CENTRAL & KAWEMPE DIVISION)

CEDOVIP works in partnership to prevent Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG)- specifically Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). CEDOVIP works with the communities of Lubaga, Makindye, Central and Kawempe divisions; Civil Society Organizations that respond to survivors of VAW/G; Health sector; and Civil and criminal Justice system (LCs, Police, Courts, opinion Leaders and District coordination communities of Kampala) and the media.
