CEDOVIP Nationwide Legal Literacy Campaign

We’re excited to announce our legal literacy campaign on five major radio stations across Uganda!

When: March 1st – April 31st, 2025

Where: Tune in to Capital Radio-91.3FM and CBS-89.2 for Central Region, Radio West-100.2FM from Western Region, Arua One-88.7FM from Northern Region. and Etop-99.4 from Eastern Region.

Why: Our campaign aims to:

• Empower communities and duty bearers to challenge harmful cultural norms and practices that perpetuate Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG)
• Increase knowledge on VAWG among the general public and key stakeholders
• Influence positive change in attitudes, behaviours, and social norms to prevent VAWG
• Advocate for institutional reforms and survivor-cantered services

Who: Our target audience includes:

• Women, men, and children
• Police officers
• Judicial officers
• Prosecutors
• Health workers
• Lawyers
• Local council leaders
