Olive Nabisubi

Olive Nabisubi holds a BA in Development Studies from Makerere University. She also holds certificates in Counseling domestic violence survivors, Good Clinical Practice and Subject Protection, and Qualitative and Quantitative Participatory Research. Olive is a Program Officer in charge of implementing SASA! program in Makindye and Rubaga divisions in Kampala. She is at the fore front of working with communities to create safer, healthier and happier relationships, homes and communities through inspiring men and women to start questioning violence against women, men’s use of power and HIV.
Her love for design is brought to life through development of colorful communication materials where she pays attention to the quality of materials produced. Before joining CEDOVIP, she worked as a research assistant with Raising Voices on the baseline research for the SASA! program. Prior to that, she worked as a behavioral assistant researcher with the Rakai Health Sciences Program in Southern Uganda. She is passionate about empowering vulnerable people such as women and children, she is a voice for the voiceless.
