CEDOVIP in partnership with Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, and The Human Rights Centerunder the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law with support from UN WomenUganda has undertaken a process to develop a comprehensive handbook for handling SGBV cases in both development and humanitarian settings.
The tool will provide practical tips for all key stakeholders (police, prosecutors, healthcare workers, probation and armed forces/army) on how to address and respond to SGBV. So far a working team comprising of the above stakeholders has been created to support the development of the tool.
A draft handbook is expected by November 2018.
